DS Mineral-Oil Tank storages

WESER-PETROL Seehafentanklager GmbH & Co. KG operates six company-owned tank storage facilities for mineral oil products and biofuels at three locations in Germany. WESER-PETROL has a total of 372,000 cubic meters of tank storage capacity and modern transshipment equipment.


Tank storage Bremen-Holzhafen, Bremerhavener Strasse

The ocean port tank storage is about 3 km from the Bremen city centre. Diesel fuel and light heating oil is transshipped there. This facility is used by trading companies operating across several regions as well as by a number of oil companies. The facility has loading and unloading equipment for ocean-going and inland waterway vessels, bunker ships as well as a tanker lorry loading station.

Tank storage Bremen-Hüttenhafen, Windhukstrasse

The Winkhukstrasse facility is accessible to ocean ships and is located in the industrial port of the Oslebshauser floodgate. Diesel fuel, light heating oil and biodiesel are transshipped there. The "Hüttenhafen" tank storage facility at Windhukstrasse forms a logistical unit together with the nearby Bremen-Kalihafen and Bremen-Holzhafen sites. Loading and unloading facilities are available for ocean-going tankers, inland vessels, bunker ships and a lorry tanker loading station.

Tank storage Bremen-Kalihafen, Waterbergstrasse

Located in the industrial port area, the Waterbergstrasse facility is also accessible to ocean ships by passing through the Oslebshauser floodgate. Diesel fuel, light heating oil and biodiesel are transshipped there. The Bremen-Kalihafen tank storage facility at Waterbergstrasse forms a logistical unit together with the nearby Bremen-Hüttenhafen und Bremen-Holzhafen sites. Loading and unloading facilities are available for ocean-going tankers, inland vessels, bunker ships and a lorry tanker loading station.

Tank storage Nordenham, Midgardstrasse

The ocean port tank storage facility is located on the premises of Rhenus-Midgard in Nordenham, near the mouth of the Weser River. In addition to transshipping diesel fuel and light heating oil, this facility is also primarily used for storing statutory oil reserves by the German National Petroleum Stockpiling Agency (EBV). There are loading and unloading facilities for ocean-going tankers, inland vessels and bunker ships as well as loading stations for lorry tankers and railbound tank cars.

Tank storage Greifswald, Friedrich-von-Hagenow-Strasse

The ocean port tank storage facility is located on the Greifswalder Bodden (Baltic Sea) in the Ladebow district of Greifswald. Diesel fuel and light heating oil are transshipped at the facility. Loading and unloading facilities are available for ocean-going tankers, inland vessels, bunker ships and a lorry tanker loading station.

Tank storage Industriehafen

The WESER-TANKING GmbH & Co. KG has an ocean port tanks storage facility in the "Industriehafen" area. Diesel fuel and light heating oil is stored there as reserves for the German National Petroleum Stockpiling Agency (Erdölbevorratungsverband, EBV). The primary function of this facility is to connect the cavern storage facility in Lesum operated by the EBV to the Weser shipping route.
